Today I'm sharing a quick rundown of my Christmas Eve glam.

Part of the reason this is the most wonderful time of the year is because of all the amazing beauty gift sets that are released, let's be honest.

I'm especially obsessed this year as all of the top brands have dropped some pretty stellar products so I thought I'd throw together a mini list of my faves.

Below is a brief description & reason why I chose each product. 

-I'm really tempted to order this Glam Glow duo for myself, I've heard such great things about their products and my lips are so dry in the winter.

-The Jouer Best of Nudes set is too gorg for words.  I can't lie, I am mildly devastated that it seems to have sold out before I could get my hands on it.  

-I've played with the Laura Geller Baked Gelato Illuminators a bit.  They're really pretty, and the formula is similar to Becca.  I've heard amazing things about "Gilded Honey", and in this set not only do you get that shade but you get 2 other minis for the price of 1 full size shade.

-Buxom.  Enough said.  My favorite is the lip cream in "White Russisn" which is in this set.  Included, you get minis of some of their best selling shades from each collection as well as their newly released liquid lipsticks.  

-I'm obsessing over this Bite Beauty set!  I've been contemplating buying their lipstick in "Honeycomb", but then I seen this set with Honeycomb as well as 3 other beautiful shades, all for the price of 1 full size lipstick.  It's a no-brainer.

-NARS is pretty well known for their cheek products and every year they drop something incredible.  This year they gave us their Unfiltered 1 & 2 palettes.  While they're both pretty, #2 calls to me more. 

-Million Dollar Tan is the only brand of products I use to self tan throughout the year when I'm feeling pasty.  Cabana Tan Extreme is my favorite, but I also love their "All That Shimmers" dry oil and "Mermaid Mousse" self-tanner.

My Winter Essentials ❄️

Hey Ya'll!

Today I'm sharing some of my Winter must-haves.

These are simple, everyday products that I use throughout the Fall & Winter seasons.

This is my new favorite lip balm!

It's super moisturizing and has a cooling effect.

Twisted Peppermint 3-Wick Candle from Bath & Body Works

This is 1 of my favorite scents EVER! 

It reminds me of a peppermint mocha.

Hot Cocoa & Cream 3-Wick Candle from Bath & Body Works

A new love of mine!  Literally hot chocolate in a candle.  So yummy!

Lush ButterBall Bath Bomb

I love these all year round, but especially in the winter because they're sooo moisturizing.

Coconut Oil is my favorite way to moisturize my body.

It's especially great for dry/ chapped skin.

Sally Hansen V Amplified Gel Polish

I think this is my ALL TIME favorite polish color. 

(Very similar to the text color of this blog.. Lol)

It's that perfect deep wine shade that everyone needs in their life.  

Hand Cream in Twisted Peppermint from Bath & Body Works

Hand lotion is a must..  I have a few but this is my favorite winter scent, and check out that adorable packaging!

I love a good scarf.  This is 1 is one of my all time favorites.  

It's a blanket scarf, and it's from Target.

Sweaters! And more sweaters.

This gorg cable knit is from Kohl's.

Kohl's has some really pretty sweaters right now.

I also picked up a few others from American Eagle & Target!

Slipper Socks!

Possibly 1 of my greatest discoveries. 

Since my feet are like ice blocks fresh out of the arctic, these are miracle workers!

My favorite way to wear these is inside of my Hunter rain boots to keep my feet toasty.

They're a match made in Heaven, especially when it snows!

Palmer's Skin Therapy Facial Oil | Product Review

Hey Guys!!

Today I'm doing a little product review on something new I've been trying, the Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil for FACE.

I picked it up at Target on a whim, and wanted to give it a try because I have been having some issues with my skin- dry patches, blemishes, etc.. Plus with Winter coming up, I know my chin is going to become the Sahara.  

This face oil has 10 pure oils and claims to be multi-functional.

It can be used alone or mixed with your current favorite face moisturizer.

I also have heard that using an oil moisturizer helps oily skin by tricking it into thinking it's already produced oil, hence slowing oil production down.

Product Claims:

- Helps even appearance of skin tone

- Improve skin's texture

- Improve appearance of aging skin

- Moisturizes and smooth fine lines

Contains:

- Cocoa Butter

- Retinol

- Vitamin C

- Cetesomate-E Complex

- Sweet Almond Oil

- Sesame Oil

- Coconut Oil

- Macadamia Nut Oil

- Apricot Oil

- Grapeseed Oil

- Argan Oil

- Rosehip Oil

- Camelina Oil

- Sunflower Oil

My Thoughts:

I'm a fan!  A major pro that has me impressed is how well it's helped with some small repetitive blemishes I had and wasn't able to get rid of despite my every effort on Earth.  Since I've been using this oil they've disappeared all together or are MUCH smaller and no longer red.

I had some freckles from sun exposure this Summer, they're almost completely gone.  

I definitely see a difference in how oily my skin is lately (not as bad as before).

I also think this would be amazing to mix with my foundation in the Winter to reduce my makeup from clinging to dry patches. 

Personally, I feel it's also reduced the size of my pores in my t-zone & especially around my nose.  They seem much smaller!

Overall, I think this a great product especially for the price point (Aprox. $9.99)

and I think the amount you get will last months if not all of eternity.

So my final opinion is... You should stop reading this and go buy it, NOW..

Fall Fashion Favorites {Clothes + Shoes}

Hey Everyone!

Today's/ tonight's post (thanks insomnia) is going to be a quick rundown of my favorite go-to pieces for Fall.

These are all very versatile and can be mixed & paired with any outfit transitioning into Fall/Winter.
(Yes, I get this may be a tad premature, but Fall is just my absolute favorite time of year and I'm already deep into the rabbit hole of online shopping.)

Aerie Cozy Cocoon Cardi - $59.95

Cardigans are a MUST!  Cocoon, shawl collars, and button ups are my favorite types!

I'm a firm believer that you need a cardigan in every color. lol

I've also picked up a few amazing others from Target & Old Navy.

American Eagle Crew Jegging Sweater - $39.95

I'm a real sucker for this oatmeal shade lately and love AE's sweaters.

I'm also a big fan of just about anything from AE's "Soft & Sexy" line.

This shirt is SO comfy!!  I picked it up in black & gray.

Easy to dress up or down and can be worn with jeans or leggings.

American Eagle Dark Wash Jegging - $49.95

American Eagle jeggings are some of my favorites.

They wear like jeans, but are comfy like your favorite leggings.. 

Ya know, for those times when actual leggings just aren't appropriate.  *eyeroll

American Eagle Light Wash Jegging - $39.95

Although dark washes are my favorite for Fall & Winter, a cute light wash is also necessary.

Mossimo Mid-Rise Dark Wash Skinny Jean - $27.99

I'm super picky about jeans, but I've actually found some good pairs at Target, like these.

Old Navy Long Leggings - $12.50

These are my all time favorite leggings! I have them in every color, and I have multiples in the same color (black, obvi).

They're super comfy and wear amazing!

Dress them up, down, workout in them, or sleep in them. Lol

Versatility is key. ;-)

American Eagle Lace-Up Heeled Bootie - $59.95

Booties are a new obsession of mine and these are just so chic and sexual!

I think these are a good staple pair because they practically can be worn with any outfit.

Really loving these!  I think they're sleek and would look great with some skinnies and an over-sized sweater.

Mahogany Smoke | Get The Look

Hey Ya'll!!  

So today I'm doing a post on this eye look. (Obvi lol)

I kind of just threw it together by mistake and ended up loving it so I wanted to share! :)

All of the other face products I used will be listed below, but since this post is focusing on the eyes that info is what will be most detailed. 

I mostly used the Morphe 35o palette for this look, so starting with that...

1. Mixing some of 1 & 2 on a fluffy blending brush, apply that into your crease & upward in windshield wiper motions until completely blended.  

2. Mix 3 & 4 on a pointed crease brush and apply into your crease, further defining it.  Starting in the center of your crease and going outward to the corner of your eye.  Pick up more product on your brush as needed and then blend from center in towards your inner corner. 

*Be sure to leave the very center of your lid clean for a different shadow you'll apply later.

* Do this as much as needed to darken it to your desired shade.

3. Take a clean, soft blending brush and blend out all of the edges of the shadow you just applied in your crease.

4. With a liner brush- take a mix of 4 & 5 and apply it to your lower lash line, and then smudge it out.

5. Apply L'Oreal "Iced Latte" in the center of your lid with a soft shader brush. 

6. Take the shade "Summer" from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sun Dipped Glow Kit and apply it on top of "Iced Latte" for an extra POP!

(This palette is seriously so GORG!! If you don't have it you need to get it like last week.)

7. Then also apply "Summer" to your brow bone & inner corner. 

(After I apply my brow highlight I always go back and blend the line between where my crease color ends & my brow bone highlight begin.)

8. Apply your mascara and you're done! 

 (I used L'Oreal Carbon Black & Maybelline Push-Up Drama)

-Rimmel London "Eastend Snob" Lip Liner

-NYX Liquid Lingerie Liquid Lipstick in "Lace Detail"
