Palmer's Skin Therapy Facial Oil | Product Review

Hey Guys!!
Today I'm doing a little product review on something new I've been trying, the Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil for FACE.
I picked it up at Target on a whim, and wanted to give it a try because I have been having some issues with my skin- dry patches, blemishes, etc.. Plus with Winter coming up, I know my chin is going to become the Sahara.
This face oil has 10 pure oils and claims to be multi-functional.
It can be used alone or mixed with your current favorite face moisturizer.
I also have heard that using an oil moisturizer helps oily skin by tricking it into thinking it's already produced oil, hence slowing oil production down.

Product Claims:
- Helps even appearance of skin tone
- Improve skin's texture
- Improve appearance of aging skin
- Moisturizes and smooth fine lines

Contains:
- Cocoa Butter
- Retinol
- Vitamin C
- Cetesomate-E Complex
- Sweet Almond Oil
- Sesame Oil
- Coconut Oil
- Macadamia Nut Oil
- Apricot Oil
- Grapeseed Oil
- Argan Oil
- Rosehip Oil
- Camelina Oil
- Sunflower Oil

My Thoughts:
I'm a fan!  A major pro that has me impressed is how well it's helped with some small repetitive blemishes I had and wasn't able to get rid of despite my every effort on Earth.  Since I've been using this oil they've disappeared all together or are MUCH smaller and no longer red.
I had some freckles from sun exposure this Summer, they're almost completely gone.
I definitely see a difference in how oily my skin is lately (not as bad as before).
I also think this would be amazing to mix with my foundation in the Winter to reduce my makeup from clinging to dry patches.
Personally, I feel it's also reduced the size of my pores in my t-zone & especially around my nose.  They seem much smaller!

Overall, I think this a great product especially for the price point (Aprox. $9.99)
and I think the amount you get will last months if not all of eternity.

So my final opinion is... You should stop reading this and go buy it, NOW..
You can thank me later.  ;-)

Hope y'all enjoyed this little review.
Til next time.
XO,
Terin

My Skin Care Routine

Hey y'all!  So this post is going to be dedicated to skin care..  Finally, right??
I'm going to be sharing my routine and favorite products.  :-)
I try to keep it as simple as possible.  You don't need a ton of products, just a few good ones.
I have normal to oily skin.. More so oily.
All products will be linked per ush.
Discount codes at the bottom.

First thing's first, these are the products I use on a daily basis.
Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Lotion - Click Here
Bio Oil - Click Here
Garnier Clean + Daily Scrub - Click Here
Garnier Moisture Renew Gel-Creme - Click Here
Clean & Clear Spot Treatment - Click Here
Garnier Anti Puff Eye Roller - Click Here
Sephora Dynamic Duo Face Brush - Click Here
(I don't wear makeup daily, so the products I use for removing & cleansing my face after makeup will be featured below.)

I cleanse my face daily while showering.  My go-to face wash is the Garnier daily scrub, because I have combo to oily skin and feel the need to exfoliate every day to avoid buildup. This face wash has mint in it, so it makes your face feel cold and tingly..  I'm not sure why, but I love that.
I rub some all over my face and then use my Sephora face brush..  I rotate sides on different days, I only use the brush side 2-3 times a week to avoid skin irritation.  The pink side is less abrasive than the brush side.

After showering, I use bio oil in any extra dry areas..  Bio Oil is also great for stretch marks, scars, and preventing ingrown hairs.  It's a holy grail product in my opinion.  I've been using it for over 3 years.

I moisturize my whole body with the Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Lotion.  I really love the Cocoa Radiant line, I use quite a few of the products, and love them all.  I love the smell of cocoa butter and think that this lotion is super moisturizing.  I use it daily after showering.

The Garnier eye roller and Clean & Clear spot treatment I use as needed.  The Garnier eye roller is amazing if your eyes are a little puffy or swollen from not enough sleep or even if you've been wearing eye makeup a lot your lids can get a little swollen or irritated, I use it for that too..  The spot treatment is pretty self explanatory, I use it to spot treat any breakouts before applying my facial moisturizer.
A spot treatment type product is a staple in any facial routine, because let's be real, there's no woman on Earth so flawless that she doesn't breakout around "that time" of the month.. And by "that time" I mean the dreaded time when you hate everyone and pretty much want to die.  :-)
I use the green Moisture Rescue Gel-Creme, which is for "normal skin", I've also tried the pink version for "dry" skin and really can't tell a difference between the 2.  So I go for the green because mint is my favorite color, obvi.
I prefer gel face lotions because I am typically oily and it helps prevent additional oil and breakouts.  :-)
Also, sitting here typing it, I really am not sure why it's called a "Gel-Creme", it's a gel..

Now...  When I am wearing makeup, I always clean my face first in the shower.  I use the pink side of my face brush prior to doing my makeup, because I will use the brush side when taking it off.  You don't want to over exfoliate your skin because it can cause it be more oily and/ or breakout.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel - Click Here

I really love the Clinique Moisturizing Gel.  The Gel version is for oily skin and it's AHHHHMAZING!!!  I use this to moisturize before applying my makeup, especially in the summer it does a killer job at controlling my oil throughout the day.

Neutrogena Hydrating Makeup Remover Towelettes - Click Here

When it's time to remove my makeup... :'( Such a sad time.
I start with these Neutrogena wipes, they get off majority of my makeup and don't irritate my skin.

After, I use my Garnier face wash & Sephora face brush to deeper clean my skin and pores, because there is ALWAYS some makeup hanging on for dear life after using a remover wipe.  ;-)
It's super important to always wash your face, using a remover wipe isn't enough!  Please believe me!

Aveeno Positively Radiant Cleansing Pads - Click Here

After I wash my face, I use these Aveeno pads to just go over my face 1 more time, and grab anything that may be left on my face.  They are pre-moistened, 1 side of the pad is smooth, and the other is bumpy to lightly exfoliate.  I typically only use these when cleaning my face after wearing makeup.  I picked these up to try as that "third step" that isn't too harsh on my face, and I have been using these for a couple weeks and so far I really like them.  I can already tell a difference in the size of my pores!!  That's major.
Once I rub my face some with each side of the pad, I rinse my face then pat it dry with a towel.
After cleaning my face I moisturize with my Garnier Face Moisturizer, or the Clinique one if I am having a breakout or feeling more oily than usual.

That's pretty much it for my routine and the products I use constantly.  I'm going to drop a few of my other skin care favorites right below...  I don't use them all of the time, but I love them all the same!
:-)

Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Spray Moisturizer - Click Here
Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Body Gel Oil - Click Here

These 2 were moisturizing saviors for me this past summer.  With tanning, swimming, and the humidity my skin was feeling thirsty!!  This body gel gave my skin life!!!  It makes your skin so soft and shiny.  It does leave you feeling a little "oily" or "greasy" so I don't pack it on, I just do a light layer.. I've even used it this winter.  It's so good!  I've also used it as a "skin treatment" type thing...  I applied it after a late night bath and then slept with it on...  It worked wonders.

The spray lotion is basically my "lazy go-to".. Lol..  Don't judge me.
If I'm in a rush (because I am always late to everything) or don't feel like taking the time to rub lotion in, I use this.
I just spray it and it rubs in super fast..  Simples

Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser - Click Here

I use this occasionally if I am feeling like my pores are clogged or there's buildup on my skin.  I haven't used it much since I started using the Aveeno pads, but this use to be my first step in cleansing my face of makeup.

Annnnd that's all folks!!  Haha
I hope y'all find this helpful/ informative.  These products and routine have worked well for my sometimes sensitive and overly oily skin.
If you're sensitive and can breakout easily, definitely try Garnier.  Their products were the only thing my face liked for a while.

As always, any questions or suggestions you can drop in the comments below or in a private contact form from the nav bar!  :-)
I would love to hear from readers.

Terin
